How do you drag click?
- 1
Get a drag-click pad
Apply a textured drag-click pad (sandpaper-like sticker) to the left mouse button. Pads cost $3–10 and last weeks-to-months.
- 2
Dry your finger
Moisture kills drag-click friction. Wash and fully dry your hand. Some clickers use chalk or talcum powder.
- 3
Position the finger flat
Place the pad of your index finger flat against the top of the button, near the back edge.
- 4
Drag down across the button
Pull the finger downward across the button face in a single smooth motion. The friction triggers multiple actuations.
- 5
Reset and repeat
Lift the finger, return to the start, drag again. Sustained 30+ CPS over 5 seconds is the standard test.
