What is a clicker test?

A clicker test is a browser tool that counts click events over a fixed duration and reports the rate as clicks per second (CPS). The same tool works for both manual clicking (test your hand speed) and auto clicker testing (verify software output). For manual tests, average users score 4–7 CPS; trained jitter clickers reach 12–14 CPS. For auto clicker testing, most free auto clickers deliver their advertised CPS accurately — OP Auto Clicker at 10 ms interval produces exactly 100 CPS; GS Auto Clicker maxes near 87 CPS; TinyTask macros run around 50–80 CPS due to scripting overhead. Auto clicker verification is useful before serious use: confirm the tool actually delivers on its speed claim, verify your mouse hardware can register that rate (some cheap mice have 5 ms debounce filters that cap actual clicks around 100 CPS), and rule out browser throttling that can artificially depress reported CPS.
