Valorant Auto Clicker — What Vanguard Detects

Using an auto clicker in Valorant matches is against Riot Games Terms of Service and detectable by Vanguard anti-cheat. Vanguard runs at kernel level and flags inhuman click patterns. This guide explains exactly what gets detected, what the ban risk is, and the only legitimate use cases for auto clicking around Valorant.

Vanguard Detection Risk by Auto Clicker Use High Risk — Banned Auto clicking in live matches Auto clicking in practice range Any in-match synthetic input → Kernel-level detection, perm ban Unclear — Avoid Custom game / private lobby Aim trainer (third-party) Replay viewer navigation → Vanguard may still be active Safe — Before Launch Launcher / menu clicking Shop / item navigation Outside of game session → Vanguard not in match mode

Does Vanguard detect auto clickers in Valorant?

Riot Vanguard is a kernel-level anti-cheat system that runs at Windows ring 0 — the highest privilege level, with full visibility into hardware input, running processes, and memory. It is active whenever Valorant is running, including in the practice range, custom games, and the main menu. Vanguard’s input analysis looks for patterns that are statistically impossible for human fingers: perfectly consistent click intervals with zero timing variation, click rates above realistic human ceilings, and synchronisation between input events and game frames that no human could produce. An auto clicker running at even a moderate fixed interval — say 100 ms between each click — produces a signature that is immediately distinguishable from natural human input, which has inherent jitter of ±20–50 ms per click. The result of detection is a permanent hardware ban. OP Auto Clicker is not designed to evade anti-cheat and should never be used in Valorant or any Riot game session.

Ban consequences

What happens if Vanguard detects an auto clicker?

Riot Games issues permanent hardware bans for confirmed anti-cheat violations. A hardware ban ties to device identifiers, meaning the banned machine cannot create new accounts to re-enter ranked. Hardware bans are not appealed successfully in the vast majority of cases. Riot does not distinguish between auto clickers and aimbots in terms of consequence — both are treated as cheating software under Riot ToS Section 2.1.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you use an auto clicker in Valorant?

No — using an auto clicker in Valorant matches violates Riot ToS and is detectable by Vanguard kernel anti-cheat. Detection results in a permanent hardware ban.

Does Vanguard detect auto clickers?

Yes. Vanguard runs at Windows ring 0 and monitors input timing patterns. Inhuman click consistency — zero jitter, perfect intervals — is a known detection signal.

Can I use OP Auto Clicker in the Valorant practice range?

No. The practice range is still a live Vanguard session. Auto clicking there carries the same ban risk as in a competitive match.

What happens if you get caught using an auto clicker in Valorant?

Riot issues permanent hardware bans. The device is blocked from new accounts. There is no effective appeal process.

Is there a safe way to auto click in Valorant?

Only before the game launches — clicking launcher menus before entering a match session. Any in-match or in-session auto clicking is against ToS.
